Nick Bradshaw
BA
NAMs Co-Ordinator & Pastoral Tutor
Nick grew up in Penarth and Tabernacle Baptist Church where his parents were the caretakers when he was born. The church was his playground, learning to ride his bike in the school room and learning to swim in the baptistry!!!!
He trained for ministry at the college before ministering at London Road Baptist Church in Lowestoft and Christchurch Welwyn Garden City for the first 10 years of his ministry before returning to Wales to serve for 5 years as a Co-Ordinator in Wales for BMS World Mission. He then took up the role of South Wales Baptist Association Regional Minister Team Leader for 16 years. During this time he was a Trustee of the college for nearly 20 years. In more recent years he has been delighted to serve the college as a Pastoral Tutor and NAM’s co-ordinator.
Nick has been the part-time minister of Stanwell Road Baptist Church Penarth since March 2019, bringing that church and Eden Church together. The other half of his time has been spent, with the help of the Association, pioneering mission and ministry within 'Outdoor Pursuit Communities’, exploring ‘microChurch meets microAdventure’. He is Chaplain at Rock UK’s Summit Centre and Cardiff International White Water Centre.
Unsurprisingly Nick loves the outdoors, particularly cycling and paddle sports and anything in the sea, on mountains or down rivers! Nick is married to Jackie and they have two adult children and one grandchild.
Most recently in January ’24, and in addition to all the above, Nick took on the role a Pioneer Minister with the East Glamorgan Baptist Association.
